Are you ready to make a positive impact on the employee experience at ULethbridge? Join us as a vital part of a dynamic Human Resources team supporting our employees. Reporting to the Director, Payroll, Pension and Benefits, you will play a crucial role in administering the University’s comprehensive pension and benefits plans.
As the successful candidate, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our employees receive support regarding their pension and benefits needs. From managing enrolment to handling life event changes, you will be the go-to person for all things related to pension and benefits administration.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly assist employees by providing detailed information on benefits coverage, options, and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing account reconciliations, collaborating with various stakeholders, and conducting analysis and audits to maintain and enhance our benefit programs and services.
As the Coordinator, you will also have the chance to lead engaging pension and benefit information sessions, craft informative communications, and create valuable training resources for our employees. Your work will directly contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our University community.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Exempt Support Staff (ESS) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.
Position Qualifications
As the successful candidate, you bring to the job a relevant post-secondary degree or diploma, and 3 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
We are looking for someone who thrives on getting things right, paying attention to detail, works independently while being a valuable team player, and someone who excels in providing excellent service and communicating with others. Your ability to multitask and take initiative will set you apart in this role.
You have experience in reviewing and applying policies, procedures, employment manuals, collective agreements, benefit plan contracts, pension plans and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations.

If you hold a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation or are actively working toward one, that is a definite asset. Your commitment to professional growth and development will be highly valued here.

Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $4,929.10 - $5,476.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $4,929.10 - $6,022.91 monthly (ESS - Grade 10)
