Appointment type: Fixed Graduate Assistantship (Non-Teaching) Location: Lethbridge (exclusively on-campus) Hours of work: 168 hours from October 17, 2023 to April 30, 2024 Salary: $5,549.52 for full appointment Reports to: Professional Development Coordinator, School of Graduate Studies What’s Great About This Job? Do you want to have practical career experience and develop your professional skills? Are you ready to make an impact on developing a holistic approach to graduate student support and development? You will be integral in supporting graduate student retention and elevating the graduate student experience by supporting the January 2024 Graduate Peer Mentorship Program launch. Every day you will be building relationships to develop a trusted network of mentors and mentees. How We’ll Make This a Great Position For You: You will represent the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and SGS Professional Development by promoting the Graduate Peer Mentorship Program launch and recruiting peer mentors, so it’s vital that we invest in you to be able to make an amazing first impression. We’ll train and develop you to become a trusted contact to allow you to recruit and guide various stakeholders through the program launch. Key Graduate Peer Mentorship Program Responsibilities:
